George Strait -
It Just Comes Natural
George Strait is arguably the biggest name in country music going on for over twenty years, scoring more number one singles than any country music artist in history...or any artist in history, for that matter. In fact, he has amassed 19 number one albums, 53 number one hit singles, and sold over a staggering 62 million records, making him clearly country music’s indisputable king.
George Strait’s new album entitled “It Just Comes Natural” which was released on October 03, 2006 by MCA Nashville, marks Strait’s 25th anniversary as a recording artist, and coincides with the announcement that he is the most recent addition to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
For those of you who haven’t heard George Strait, his music can best be described as a mixture of Billy Ray Cyrus and Tim McGraw. From the emotional slow paced brokenhearted, “Why Can’t I Leave Her Alone” to Strait keeping the honky-tonk spirit alive with “Texas Cookin’.” Of course, an album with 15 tracks has to have one or two tracks that are sub par and “How Bout Them Cowgirls” is it, but this amounts only to a small blemish on an overall superb album.
As expected with George Strait, this album doesn’t disappoint. While the title of this album is “It Just Come Natural”, ironically it also sums up the career of one of country music’s living legends. This album is a guarantee to keep the weekend heartbeat of country life beating strongly.
